Managing document templates
Document templates make fixed Word documents available for Text to document. Users can choose active templates from the environment and, where applicable, from their school or branch.
Uploading templates
Upload a .docx file, then provide a title, description and visual type. The application reads the tags and creates a SurveyJS form for the document tool. The first card on the Templates page explains this and contains the upload action.
Fields in Word
Use single braces for fields, for example {klantnaam}, {datum} or {onderwerp}. Type each tag as one continuous piece of text in Word.
Repeating fields and tables
For repeating rows or lists, use easy-template-x loops, for example {#agendapunten}{nummer}. {agendapunt}{/agendapunten}. Put inner fields such as {nummer} and {agendapunt} inside the loop.
Images and logos
For images, place a placeholder image in Word and put the tag in the alternative text, for example {logo} or {afbeelding}. The form uses the media manager to select the image.
Availability
Templates can be enabled or disabled. Disabled templates are kept for administrators, but are not offered to users.
Reserved tags and privacy
Use reserved tags whenever possible. They are pre-filled from the application and replaced only after the AI has filled the form.
