Version history

A small release after 4.0.0 for AI-School, AI-Corporate, and AI-Public.

This release bundles the improvements since 3.9.0 for AI-School, AI-Corporate, and AI-Public. From now on, the web app, the desktop app, and the apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android all share the same version number. The mobile apps are distributed via TestFlight, the App Store, and Google Play; that availability is separate from the web release.

New: the document server creates polished Word, PowerPoint, Excel and PDF documents in the background in your own house style, with illustrations, a title slide and clean bullet lists, and makes targeted changes to a document created earlier. You get a notification as soon as it is ready. PDF, Word and PowerPoint files up to 150 MB are processed, in European environments via Mistral OCR EU, and every answer shows which sources were used. The model's reasoning is collapsed by default and personal data such as a BSN is also masked in documents. Also: move students between groups, delete groups, search environments in the admin area, a renewed manual and safety page, and a faster AI-Public web app.

Chat answers stream live again and appear on screen faster. Added European PDF OCR and billing of document usage. Workflows follow the latest evaluation more closely, so Deep Research completes every goal. The mobile app signs in like the web app and opens the chat on an unknown link. Sessions are measured more accurately, the cost tile counts per environment, translations and accessibility have been completed, and the background services have a cost ceiling and start faster.
