The AI-Corporate desktop app has become more powerful. Starting today, it is possible to work directly with Excel, Word, and PDF files in your local folders. Where an automatic conversion was sometimes needed before to process these formats, this now happens fully natively and directly on your own computer. This makes analyzing and managing your business documents even faster and more efficient.
With the revamped local file access, you benefit from the following capabilities:
- Native Excel support (.xlsx, .xls, .xlsm): You can have spreadsheets read, written, edited, and searched directly by AI-Corporate. This is ideal for quickly analyzing figures or updating project lists without having to open Excel manually.
- Full PDF functionality: The app reads PDFs with advanced text extraction and can modify existing PDF files. In addition, you can now generate new PDF documents directly from Markdown text.
- Advanced DOCX support: Word documents (.docx) can be read, created, edited, and searched directly. The app performs precise edits in the underlying document structure and effortlessly converts Markdown drafts into a professionally formatted Word file.
