A New Way of Working with AI

AI models are getting better and better. Not just the large ones, but also the smaller ones. In practice, lightweight models can now handle most questions quite well. They are faster, cheaper, and often more than sufficient.

That’s why we have added a new way to work with models: the thinking model. Currently, this feature is only set up with Gemini 3.0 Pro. By default, you use a fast, small model for daily questions.

If you need more depth, for example in a more complex analysis or longer reasoning, you can activate the larger model via the brain icon next to the send button. For Gemini 3.0 Pro, this is linked to Gemini 2.5 Flash. This keeps the experience fast and smooth, with extra thinking power at your fingertips when needed.

Other models, such as GPT-5.2, work as you are used to and do not have this setting. In the coming period, we will evaluate how this way of working is experienced. Based on that, we will consider whether to implement this more broadly with other models.
